A small house that lives large

Heya look at this specific doorknobs article I noticed today. I feel the item is actually a sign that junk like this is actually readily available to study on the net. I remember way back when I was a kid you had to deal with a great deal more difficulties to get knowledge similar to this back just before the internet.

Q&A:

Question by Nikole: What personalities do these characters have?
I know there’s some references to things that you won’t understand since this excerpt is taken from nearly halfway through the story, so sorry for that.
But just from this passage, what kind of people do Oliver and the narrator, Cadence seem to be?
Thanks!

“You’re new, too?” Oliver asked me as we walked.
“What?” I asked irritably.
“Well, they obviously you don’t have much authority…I just thought it must be because you haven’t been around here long.”
“Shut up.”
I saw him crack a grin out of the corner of my eye.
“What makes you so bold all of the sudden?” I asked harshly. “You were nothing short of pathetic ten minutes ago.”
“Uh…what would you have done if those guys had ran out and drug you up here like a wild animal and then handcuffed you to a chair?”
“I wouldn’t have been rampaging through the woods like you were in the first place.”
He shrugged as he opened the door and ushered me in to continue the conversation. “Maybe it was the drugs effecting me.”
“So, you don’t know anything that you knew before you were drugged?”
“I know facts and stuff, like where I live, what year it is, how to read…stuff like that,” he said as he motioned for me to take a seat beside him on the bed. “Just nothing about me or who I was.”
“If you don’t know who you are, then how do you know your name?”
He dug into the pocket of his dirty, holey jeans to retrieve a tattered piece of laminated paper. “I had a name tag on when I woke up,” he explained as he handed to me, “It was pinned to my shirt.”
I stared at ID tag blankly before finally handing it back to Oliver.
“What’s your name?” he asked me suddenly.
“I’m Cadence.”
“…Malone?”
“Yeah.”
“Like…betrothed to the prince? That Cadence Malone?”
“Yes.”
“Well that’s a plot twist if I ever heard one.”
“I think I’m going to go back to bed,” I said flatly as I stood to leave.
“I didn’t mean it in a bad way,” he said quickly. “I mean, that’s a good thing, right? You being against the royal family? Because they’re all a bunch of douches and stuff.”
“I think a faulty batch of those drugs must have found it’s way to you…” I said as I turned the doorknob.
“You mean you don’t think I’m gonna turn into a troll or anything?” he asked hopefully.
“I mean it must have messed up the wrong part of your brain.”
“Ouch,” he said just before I shut the door on him.

I think Oliver fancies Candece, or whatever her name is. But yeah i think Oliver is the very easy-go guy and Candece is more upright and more devensive, fisty. Yeah but you should totally get them guys togther. What’s the story about anyhow? It’s good so far, well even though it’s in the middle it’s still good. But prehaps some action between the two bickering guys? Add some va va voom! Lol :P
